Hi sparkles, happy July. I hope you’re all safe and well. It’s nice to be back to deviantART, I’ve really missed it. I took a spin on twitter and instagram — and even through they’re fun in their own ways, it’s just not the same as dA. So here we are!
Since I last posted here, a lot has happened. I finally fulfilled my dream of becoming a full-time illustrator, and I couldn’t be happier (erm, pandemic and social unrest notwithstanding). I’ve always loved my Wacom tablet. I’ve added an iPad with Procreate to my arsenal and WOW I RECOMMEND IT. It lets you keep your traditional drawing skills/hand coordination, plus the joys of digital painting and coloring. Mwah, chef kiss.
I moved to Seattle. Love it. What else is there to say? The comics scene up here slaps, and there are a bunch of other alt culture folk. It’s great. I met a wonderful sparkle and we moved in together. I have a pet ball python named Monet. I am teaching myself how to rollerskate. FUN.
